Transformative Global Climate Governance "après Paris"

23 May 2016 - 24 May 2016
Berlin, Germany

This conference will bring together leading scholars and practitioners to discuss emerging transformations in global climate governance after the "Paris Agreement." The two-day event will be structured around the five themes of ‘Transformation,’ ‘Global Justice,’ ‘Coherence,’ ‘Multilevel Capacity’ and ‘Framing.’

The agreement adopted at the UN climate change conference in Paris in December 2015 marks a watershed in international climate politics.

This conference was initiated by the German Development Institute (DIE) and the Environmental Policy Research Centre (FFU) at Freie Universität Berlin. It provides space for interdisciplinary exchange between social and cultural sciences, policy analysis, political philosophy, political economy, as well as institutionalist scholars.
