WWWeek At Home

24 August 2020 - 28 August 2020
Online

World Water Week 2020 was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To help bridge the gap between the 2019 and 2021 World Water Weeks, the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) organised 'WWWeek At Home' between 24 and 28 August 2020.

For nearly 30 years, SIWI has organised World Water Week. Today it is the world’s most influential movement focused on transforming global water challenges.

'WWWeek At Home' brought together convenor-hosted, virtual adaptations of sessions on water and climate change originally destined for World Water Week 2020.

For further information on the schedule, updates and outcomes, please visit World Water Week’s homepage.

One of the sessions, 'Water diplomacy, a tool for climate action?', was organised by adelphi and IHE Delft. For more information, please click here.

Also, adelphi and IHE Delft organised a side-event 'Analytical tools for identifying water conflict risks' at the 2019 World Water Week, together with the World Resources Institute, Deltares, and the Dutch and German foreign ministries. To read the summary, please click here.
